Iridescent colour has always been fascinating to humans; it is a dynamic property that has a fleshy shimmer. Knowledge about iridescent has increased but there are still many unexplored ideas which led me to create a new type of surface using iridescent. I began by exploring how iridescent colour is aesthetically involved on surfaces. I tried to create an irregular texture with gloss acrylic gel mediums on the iridescent effected film, such that when light is reflected by each texture, it interferes with light from its neighbours to produce different brightness and colours.
